This policy applies to the paid Steam edition of NekoByte. Steam handles build delivery for this edition.
Updates for NekoByte are handled through Steam. Steam provides download, patching, and update-delivery controls according to your Steam client settings and Valve's platform systems.
The NekoByte desktop application may display its current version in the Settings dashboard. In this Steam edition, it does not perform independent background update checks or communicate with NekoByte-controlled update servers for ordinary update delivery.
Release notes for new versions are published through the Steam "News" or "Updates" section for NekoByte.
